Emirates restarts service to Phnom Penh via Singapore

Emirates today celebrated the relaunch of its daily Phnom Penh service via Singapore. This service marks Emirates’ first direct link between Singapore and Phnom Penh, reaffirming the airline’s commitment to the Southeast Asian market.

Departing from Dubai at 0130 hrs, the maiden EK348 flight touched down in Singapore at 1305 hrs before continuing its journey to Phnom Penh at 1535 hrs. The occasion was commemorated with a ceremonial event at the Emirates Lounge in Changi Airport Terminal 1, graced by esteemed guests including Jamal Abdulla AlSuwaidi, UAE Ambassador to Singapore;  Vy. Samdy, First Secretary, Cambodian Embassy; Steven Ler, President, National Association of Travel Agents Singapore;  Damon Wong, Senior Vice President, Airport Operations Planning, Changi Airport Group;  Nabil Sultan, Emirates’ Executive Vice President of Passenger Sales and Country Management;  Orhan Abbas, Emirates’ Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for Far East; and Rashed Alfajeer, Emirates’ Country Manager for Singapore and Brunei.

Rashed Alfajeer, Emirates’ Country Manager for Singapore & Brunei,said: “The launch of the daily service between Singapore and Phnom Penh follows the relaunch of our daily direct flight between Singapore and Melbourne in January 2023.This further strengthens our network in the region, offering travellers the opportunity to Fly Better with Emirates, and businesses wider and deeper trade connections.”

The introduction of Emirates’ new service will not only expand the airline’s connectivity to and from Dubai within Southeast Asia but also fosters seamless travel and trade between Singapore and Cambodia.

Emirates operates its modern Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in a three-class configuration on flights to Phnom Penh, offering 8 private suites in First Class, 42 lie flat seats in Business Class and 304 spacious seats in Economy Class.
