Greater Bay Airlines announced that its CEO Liza Ng welcomed the initiatives presented by Hong Kong SAR chief executive John Lee in this year’s Hong Kong Policy Address.
She believes that these initiatives will not only benefit Hong Kong’s tourism and overall economic development but will also help speed up the recovery of Hong Kong’s international flights, particularly long-haul flights, to the pre-COVID levels.
Ng added that the airline is committed to opening more new routes to meet the market demand, further enhancing Hong Kong’s status as an international aviation hub.
Into network expansion
In his Policy Address, Lee declared that the government will step up its efforts to expand its aviation network by supporting the Hong Kong International Airport to explore new destinations and flights.
At the same time, the government will also introduce various innovative initiatives to develop Hong Kong into a premier tourism destination.
